Congratulations on taking this important step.
See, the vast majority of diets work on this principle:
Decrease the calories going in, increase the calories going out.
All makes sense … EXCEPT …
… most people who live a “Western” lifestyle (think: quite a bit of stress, eating on the go, lots of chocolate, coffee, alcohol, possibly even some nicotine, environmental pollution etc), simply cannot let go of the fat.
Or in other words: the body is hanging onto the fat to PROTECT the body.

Here’s your step-by-step action plan I’m talking about in the video: (do this before going on a diet!!!)
STEP 1: (optional): Google the term “darkfield microscopy”.

This is a classic example of the red blood cells “stacked” up and as a result not transporting oxygen properly anymore. Resulting in fatigue, shortness of breath etc.

On their website, they also talk about waste-products being deposited, here’s what they say:
Crystals
Crystals are mostly caused by consumption of fats and proteins that have been cooked at high temperatures thereby removing most of the enzymes. They are formed by cellular debris, fatty material, protein waste and toxins in the system. There was not a significant amount of crystals in the blood, but some were observed. These relate to bowel toxicity and plaque which over time can clog up the arteries.Recommendations: A higher intake of Essential Fatty Acids (oily fish), or supplementation of EFAs. Intestinal cleansing would be beneficial as well as drainage of lymph, liver and kidneys.
STEP 2: (*THE* most important thing to do right now)
Check out this chart and see where you are at the moment: Reds are acidic, Greens are Alkaline.
If you can cut out a few of the 1s and 2s (super-acidic and acidic), and possibly replace them with a few dark green ones, you’re instantly giving your body a massive boost.
Obviously, I can’t go into great detail here, e.g. there is a big difference between fully cooked meats, and only slightly cooked meats, but, for the time being, just use this as a starting point.
Another thing I want to clarify is the whole section on Soy. Unfortunately, there is soy, and then there is soy. Some is processed in a way that’s pretty unhealthy for you, but more on that in the next video.
Step 3: (optional, but certainly the ‘sneaky’ short-cut I’m using all the time….;-) check out some alkalizing mineral powders. I can’t really recommend any, I’m personally using this one (the ones you saw in the videos)

ok, cannot really give you much of a recommendation here, I’ve had wonderful successes with Dr. Schulze’s Detox programmes (originally, it was Michael A. Smith who recommended it to me, thank you Michael (and he must be about 400 years old as he trained with the Westons and was around when Ansel Adams was taking pictures, so if it works for him, it works for me;-).
So, Google “Dr Schulze” and/or “www.herbdoc.com” and you’ll find plenty of reviews — plus you’ll find plenty instructions on how to do this on a shoe-string. I just use Dr. Schulze’s stuff because it’s certified organic, don’t really want to put pesticides into my body whilst detoxing.
And like I said, the liver cleanse tastes disgusting (well, let’s say it’s an acquired taste;-) but works wonders (both in terms of feeling absolutely brilliant afterwards plus my acupuncturist being blown away when I saw him after doing the detox).
One final thought on this: these guys I mentioned earlier (http://acidose.de/bitba-shop.html) happen to be my neighbours.
So, when we’re swapping herbs over the garden-fence, we often enough end up talking about healthy diet, detox etc.
Their view is that they’d rather have cooked foods and solids all the way through a detox UNLESS you’re willing to do a full colonic irrigation (remember the blue thing in the video…;-).
Their reasoning is as follows: as you go on your fast, the amount of food going through the gut reduces significantly. If you then only eat raw foods/drink raw juices, you end up with foods that may well start to ferment in the gut. And, as no new material is coming, it just sits there for the few days you’re on your detox.
That’s why they recommend using cooked soups, juices etc only. Unless, of course, you are ensuring the stuff keeps moving;-)
So, keep an eye out for my “quick start diet” program, which shows you how to do this step-by-step without the need for artificial flushing…
Like I say in the video, this is key for ensuring any byproducts of burning all that fat actually get moved out and don’t keep flushing around your body (and then get stored back somewhere).
Personally I use the fun thing I showed you in the video, plus I’ve used Dr. Schulze’s Intestinal Formula #2. His Formula #1 was too strong for me, it gave me a runny tummy.
Additionally, I’ve also used happy, healthy bacteria and some enzymes, again, unfortunately, I can’t make any specific recommendations. Dr. Schulze’s staff may be able to recommend something, otherwise just check with your local GNC???
Ah, apparently the phion people have a bowel cleansing thing, which is focused on not only bowel cleansing but also maintaining the pH balance. So that might be an option, I haven’t personally used it.
Ok, there you have it. That’s what I personally did (and still do every year just to keep the system clean), and I would definitely do before embarking on a diet.
What I’ve got now is in the next video what you need to do once you’re ready for your diet (let’s call it the non-diet) and then after that what you need to do to avoid ever suffering from yo-yo-ietis.
